Products used in cleaning electric and mechanical equipment should be:
High dielectric strength is the most important feature of products designed to maintain and protect electric and mechanical equipment. Because dielectric grease is non-conductive, for instance, it is often applied to electrical connectors, particularly ones which contain rubber gaskets, as a way to provide a non-conductive lubricant and sealer for the rubber portions of the connector. Other dielectric insulating fluids function to displace and seal out moisture, oil and chemicals.

Contact Clean: A high dielectric (30,000 volt dielectric strength), high purity, rapidly evaporating, non-flammable aerosol spray contact and circuit board cleaner. Specially formulated for removing oil, grease, condensation, dust, and other particulate matter from sensitive electronic parts. Dries quickly, residue free. Safe for use on plastics. Easy and effective application can eliminate the need for computer cleaning specialists. Includes extension tubes for easier application to remote areas. NSF Certified. EPA SNAP Approved. Commonly used on circuit boards, wire terminals, relays, switches, contacts, circuit breakers, tuners, potentiometers, cable ends & receptacles, control panels, motors & other electronic & electrical equipment.
Lectrasol II: Maximum-efficiency degreaser cleaner dissolves grease, oil, tar, and other soils which accumulate on machinery. Designed to be used on electrical equipment while such equipment is in operation, saving expensive downtime. Non-conductive (36,000 volt dielectric strength), non-flammable high-purity formulation dries fast and is residue free. Features a powerful flush action valve. Commonly used on motors, windings, generators, gears, relays, mixers, starters, production machinery, assemblies of electrical equipment.
Coilex: Portable, non-acid, coil cleaner that blasts deep into air conditioner, heater, refrigeration, and dryer coils to loosen and remove grease, dirt, lint, and grime, improve system efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Contains bio-enzymes for continuous cleaning and breakdown of organic coil contaminants. Bio-enzymatic action causes breakdown of organic blockages to help keep drip pan clean and drain line free flowing Helps maintain clean drip pans and drain lines. Non-rinsing formula helps maintain optimum unit efficiency. Disperses clean fragrance throughout room.
MG 555 APG: An extreme pressure, high temperature dielectric grease fortified Extra Pressure (“EP”) additive, Molybdenum Disulfide. Extra pressure or EP types of grease form a layer that prevents seizing and sticking under heavy pressure, and are generally used for oscillating and vibrating applications. Highly adhesive to metal surfaces, powerful formulation resists extreme pressures of up to 500,000 psi. Rust inhibiting grease contains inhibitors to fight corrosion; forms a barrier between protected surface and water, acids, alkalis, dust, dirt and other foreign contaminants. Used as a high performance lubricant in a wide range of machine applications; an excellent automotive grease. A popular replacement solution where temperature extremes have caused run out or excessive thickening with other greases.
Lectronic: Penetrating spray cuts through water to displace moisture in electrical systems; cleans away corrosion to help restore correct current flow, and imparts a waterproof film that locks out moisture to protect parts and prevent future corrosion and electrical discharge. Enables easy wintertime starting by preventing condensation in vehicle electrical systems. Features high dielectric strength (36,000 volts); aids in restoring electrical current to water damaged equipment. Non-flammable formulation is safe to spray on running electrical equipment. Popularly used by auto mechanics in numerous applications, which include general automotive rust inhibitor, running lights, distributors, and seat adjustment mechanisms.
Watch it work:
Dry Skid Teflon: Chemically inert, oil-free, odorless, fast drying lubricant and release agent containing an extremely fine polytetrafluoroethylene (“Teflon”) powder. Features outstanding microscopic film forming properties more slippery than silicone. Provides superior friction reduction in all metal-on-metal, rubber-on-metal, and metal-on-plastic applications. High dielectrical properties reduce energy consumption of machinery. Designed to replace graphite in applications where increased lubrication or slippage is desired, but staining is a problem. Popularly used in applications involving metal, aluminum, wood, rubber, and glass.
Red Insulating Varnish: Quick drying, non-conductive coating protects electrical equipment from corrosion by guarding against exposure to chemicals, oil, and moisture. Helps prevent current leakage, short circuiting and flash-off ensuring optimal efficiency. High dielectric and arc resistance. Highly effective as a finish coat, the formulation dries fast to a tough, glossy, flexible coating that resists cracking and chipping. Strengthens and repairs worn-out and damaged insulation.
Beltak: Prevents slippage of all types of “V”, round and flat belts, increases pulling power and stops squeals. Contains tackifiers that adhere to rubber, leather, fabric, and synthetic belts. Cleans, preserves, and waterproofs adding new flexibility to old belts. Can be applied to belts while machine is in operation. Strong pencil spray with “spray anyway” valve enables application of dressing to hard to reach areas. High tack, non-staining formulation.
