Industrial Lubricants

Solid lubricants such as greases and powders are in most cases better-suited for high-intensity applications than multi-purpose lubricants (greases being the most potent options in this regard), and as such make ideal industrial lubricants.  Industrial spray lubricants available in powder form include:

Molybdenum Disulfide (“Moly-based”) lubricants which deliver exceptional performance in exceptionally harsh conditions, from extreme temperatures and pressure, to unrelenting and unforgiving outside elements.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (also known as “PTFE” or the DuPont brand name, “Teflon”) lubricants are ideal for applications requiring use of a lubricant with otherwise benign qualities.  Dry Skid Teflon, for instance, is chemically inert, odorless, and non-staining; most importantly, it has high dielectric properties, such that energy consumption is reduced along with friction and wear;

Powdered graphite industrial lubricant is useful where long-term, economical oil-free lubrication between like metals is required;

The Versatility of Multi-Purpose Lubricants

Liquid lubricants contain a base oil as the main ingredient, but are often combined with task-specific additives to perform functions ancillary to the simple reduction of friction – for example the nut and bolt loosener which also seals out water to prevent future corrosion.   The versatility of these spray lubricants extends from function to application, as silicon lubricant which can be used with confidence on any surface including rubber, these products feature a degree of versatility makes for ideal multi-purpose lubricants.

Specialty Lubricants

Our specialty lubricants come in liquid form like the multi-purpose lubricants, but contain additives designed for use in highly specific applications, from the liquid silicon lubricant safe to use where food is prepared to lubricants designed for cutting and pneumatic equipment.

Multi-Purpose Lubricants

Anti-Seize 2100:  Extreme temperature and pressure copper-fortified lubricant and sealant that plates, protects, and prevents metal surfaces from seizing at temperatures up to 2100°F. Prevents seizing, galling, pitting, galvanic action and thread distortion.  Makes disassembly easier by reducing torque requirements.  Reduces friction and wear by providing for tighter, firmer threaded joints that open easier.  Copper additive provides superior heat dispersion.  Water-resistant formulation.  Excellent for all industrial maintenance and repair jobs  Popularly used on motors, bearings,  gears, turbines, compressors, manifolds, production machinery, boilers, heat exchangers,  exhaust systems, oil and ore drills.

Loose All Nut and Bolt Loosener:  Potent blend of solvents and lubricants with high dielectric strength cuts through dirt, rust, and scale to free nuts, bolts, screws, and other fasteners that have become frozen or encrusted with corrosion. Provides long lasting lubrication, reduces friction, and seals water from treated surface.   Non-flammable spray allows for greater flexibility in application.  Includes extension tubes for easier application to remote areas.

Release Liquid Silicon Lubricant:  A pure, non-staining super dry, heavy duty, cleaner-lubricant-protectant that is safe for use on almost any surface – an excellent lubricant for plastics.  Silicon lubricant spray reduces friction, wear, and annoying squeaks in hinges, latches, springs, gears and other mechanisms.  Treated surfaces repel moisture, protecting them against corrosion and wear.  Excellent as a mold release agent for rubbers, metal, wood, glass, plastic, elastomers, and fiber.  Detergent ingredient provides cleaning power.  Popularly used in packaging plants, printing plants, garment and textile plants, molding operations, and on conveyors, cutting tables, knives, hinges, sewing machines, scissors, guide rails, heat sealing equipment.

Specialty Lubricants

Release (Food Grade):  NSF certified for use as a lubricant where incidental food contact may occur. Food processing and packaging equipment is treated with a high-viscosity, ultra pure, clear, dry lubricating film that reduces friction and wear.  Waterproof, non-staining, formulation is heat stable from -40°F to +285°F. Outstanding for preventing jamming and production slowdown of bottling lines. Excellent as a mold release agent for rubbers, metal, wood, glass, plastic, elastomers, and fiber.  Contains no chlorinated solvents. Popularly used on heat sealing equipment, conveyors, ovens, slicers, and scrambler tables.   Most versatile amongst synthetic lubricants.

Cutting Fluid

Cool & Cut:  Synthetic oil lubricant and coolant designed to disperse heat and extend tool life in portable and field operations such as machining, punching, sawing, milling, grinding, cutting, tapping, and threading.   Formulation cools work pieces to reduce heat distortion and and prevent tool burning.  Extremely effective on exotic metals, including carbon steels, stainless steel, aluminum and aluminum alloys, bronze, titanium, chrome molly and vanadium steels, nitralloy steel, monel, phosphor, hastelloy alloys, beryllium-copper, and other related alloys.  Transparent to allow for increased visibility of the work area.  Includes extension tubes for easier application to remote areas.  Can be removed easily with cold water or degreasing solvents.

HPL Air Tool Cleaner & Lubricant:  Cleans, lubricates, restores and protects air tools and other Pneumatic equipment. Cleans away rust and operating debris, displaces moisture, removes calcification, and lubricates to restore optimum tool performance.  Break-down and removal of accumulated sludge, dirt and dust from internal air motor parts allows for increased air flow through the tool and system, restoring power and RPMs.  Highly specific formulation lubricates and cleans air motor fins to prevent breakage and corrosion, but will not cause swelling of air motor fins.    Coats parts with a non-paraffin chemical rust preventative that seals out corrosion without evaporating or wearing away for up to 18 months of storage.    Application is quick and easy:   spray into equipment through the air line connection, re-connect air line and run equipment at full RPM until oil is noticed in exhaust.

Industrial Lubricants

Super Dry Moly:  Molybdenum Disulfide or “moly”-based dry film lubricant and anti-seize coating.  Sprays a dry film lubricant suited for use in dirty or dusty atmospheres. Burnishes into metal to provide long-term lubrication and protection. Water-resistant and inert to oil, alkalis, and acids. Resists temperatures from -110°F to +1050°F and pressures to 100,000 psi.  Adheres to metals, rubber, and glass; ideal lubricant for plastics.  Methylene chloride free formula is more user friendly and accepted by safety directors who disapprove of chlorinated solvents.

Open Gear Lube: High tack lubricant that penetrates deep into gear teeth and cable before thickening to a heavy black stringy lubricant. Creates a Molybdenum Disulfide shield, which maintains a cushion of lubricant between gear teeth and other friction producing surfaces. Absorbs high shock loads, extreme pressure and prevents chipping and scuffing. Forms a protective water-resistant coating that prevents corrosion in outdoor and even underwater applications. Formulated for extended retention of tackiness to automatically re-coat gear teeth with each revolution of the mechanism. Contains high wear-resistance additives to prevent viscosity breakdown and spin-off. Will not sling off, melt, dry out or build up between gear teeth.  Unique dual spray valve – pencil spray for those hard-to-reach areas or fan spray for laying down a film. Popularly used by construction, marine, and industrial plants and in application which include drag lines, winches, rock crushing machines, cranes, street cleaning and snow removal equipment, garbage trucks, elevators, escalators, drilling equipment, construction equipment, water and sewage disposal equipment, earth moving equipment, conveyors, metal working presses, textile and paper mill equipment.
